Béaloideas on St Mochua [duchas:4379307]

Years and years ago St Mochuas well was on the top of the village. One Sunday morning a women washed her clothes in it and that night the well shifted down to Ballyheena where it still remains. All the old people go down to St Mochuas well on the 10th of February to say a-roun of their beads in honour of St Mochua. It is surrounded by a big wall which was built by the Earl of Hunthingdon. It is at St Mochua well all the people of Bally
