What has a head and body and no more? Ans. A bob
Why should a hen never have untidy feathers? Because she carries a comb with
What ship do we all like to avoid? Hardship
What is it that never asks questions yet requires many answers? The door bell.
Why is the sun like a dough?
Because it is light when it rises.
Why is a bank like music?
Because they are both full of notes.

Why is a miser like a man with a bad memory?
He is always forgetting.
When is water fat?
When it is dripping.
What does an envelope say when it is licked?
It shuts up and says nothing about it.
Where can the miserable always find sympathy?
In the dictionary.
Why is a card player always in good company?
Because he plays with Kings and Queens.
Why should hungry go to the Sahara?
Because of the sand (sandwitches) there
When is a penny like a hermit?
When it is a loan.
When it is a bad, should you lose your temper?
When it is a bad one.
