to the chilblains. 4. Ink or washing-soda applied to a ringworm will cure it. 5. Cut a raw potato in halves and rub it on a wart and it will disappear. 6. To cure an earache let the juice from a fresh burning ash stick fall into it. 7. For a head-ache get a silk stocking and wet a small part of it. Tie it round the head pulling the wet part to the forehead. 8. Bread soda applied to an aching tooth will relieve the pain.
