Local Patron Saint [duchas:4985727]

St Munna is the patron St. of this parish Taghmon (Teac-Munna). His church is still in existence and is being preserved by Antiquarian Society. This Church was spared by Cromwell because it gave him shelter on a very stormy night - It is known where he is buried. A holy well is dedicated to his honour.

No people in the district are called after the Saint.
