Prospecting for minerals

Abstract: File contains request from Intelligence Officer Irish Command for enquiries to be made as to whether any persons have been observed prospecting for minerals on the islands off the Cork and Kerry Coast. Further includes request from Royal Irish Constabulary, relative to the alleged supply of petrol etc. to enemy submarines, for names of pensioners and others who have been in Irish Lights Service and now reside in or around Wexford. The list of names is provided. The file is marked 'Confidential'.
