Tugtar Dún mór ar ár mbaile mar gheall ar an dún atá taobh thiar dé'n baile . Bhí ban flaith darab ainm "mór " in a chomhnuide ann fado . Bhí seilbh na h-aite timcheall an duine aici . Creideann na sean daoine  go raibh draoideacht aici agus go raibh eagla ar na daoine roimpi. Tá lorg an dúna le feicéal fós. Tá sé ar mhullach chnuic ar an gaobh thiar dé'n abhainn .Chlair

ar do láimh chlé nuair a théigeann tú tar an droichead . Tá  an dun eruinn i dígh in a timcheall  Cnóch na sideóg a tugtar ar an dún anois. Bhí an sean bhaile in aice  an dúna fadó . Deirtear gur  cuireadh Rí Connacht ins an ait sin freisin .
