An Coileáinín Uasal [duchas:4735334]

Chuir An Buitléarach Coileán óg go dtí an Gleann chun é chothú. Bhuail Roibárd Hairis isteach sa tig mar a raibh sé agus seo mar adubhairt :-
“Is a choileáin bháin an án gCoirreán a ghluaisis
Nó an ann a d’fágais an t-ál ‘sa chuainthe
Mar a bhfuil cuileachta grádmhar ar bhruach trágha buaidhreamh
Agus Luigh go hárd agaibh gach lá acu ag gluaiseacht.”
Seo mar fhreagair an coileán :-
M’as file gan cháim thú níl sáil ar chuntaibh
Níl aon cuantas le fághail ar mo cháirdibh uaim le
Ach gur thiar ag an gCoirreán atá an duine uasal
A thabharfaidh do chách gach lá mo thuairisg.
(tá rud éigin in easnamh annso )
