Duine de mhuinntir Ghlais a bheadh Míchéal. Chómhnuig sé i gCathair Sabhaín. Bhí sé adhbhair símhplídhe ann féin. Chaitheadh sé lán ama ag casadh torrain coise istig i lár n h-abhann agus é a’ rádh san am cheudna “ Fidiliom , oidiliom Síghle Uí n-Eoghainn”
Bhi muca acu agus bhiodh siád i gcómnuidhe ag teacht chun a’ tighe. Bhíodh muinntear a’ tíghe ag cur cúiteamh le Mícheál agus áiteamh air na muca  do chuir  ó’n dtig. Sa deireadh bhris ar a bhfoighne air. Thóg sé na muca leis agus níor stad gur bhain sé amach Eisg na Mactaíre mar a bhfuil faill árd contabhairreach. Caith sé na muca leis an bhfaill agus nuair a bhiódhar ag tuitim uaidh dubhairt sé go raibh gach aon “Oithín is Oithin, Ó dhraibhín go draibín” acu
