and they are falling down now. One of these houses was owned by a tailor named jim Snith. The other was owned by Mr. Hogan and he left it and went to Ballyea. There are two old people over seventy years in the (parish) townland. One of them is a flute player and his name is Mr. Callinan. Barry is the only name that is plentiful in it.
There is a big lake in the townland and it is called Clounmacon Lake. A priest was drowned in the lake named Father Hehir. He lived in James Wynne's land and one evening he went to water his horse and the priest got a fright and he fell into the lake and got

drowned. That part of the lake is called "Poll a t-Sagairt"
There is a bog in the townland where a man was drowned when he was coming from midnight mass in Inagh on Christmas Night. There is no name in the place where he was drowned but there is a stone in the place where he was drowned. There is a bridge in the townland called Kylea Bridge and the place around it is haunted. When people pass by it by night they see lights and they also find the place around the bridge very hot.
The famous Garret Barry was born in this townland about eighty six years ago.
