There is a mermaid in the Clounmacon Lake and the people saw her sitting on the shore of the lake combing her hair. When she say them (then) she went into the lake. There was a noise heard in the lake about thirty years ago and it lasted for a day and night. 

Leperechauns-:
A Leperechaun is a very small man wearing red clothes. One night Michael Barry was going to a fair in Ennistymon and he saw a small man dressed in red a near the pumn [?]. He spoke to him and he never answered him and he saw a big fire in Peylon's bad and then he disappeared. 
The Mullins saw a leperechaun last year and he was dressed in red and he was walking across
