A satirical political pamphlet, attributed to H. Edge (H. E.), concerning William Ewart Gladstone and a fictitious visit to Dublin. The author offers his own version of what might happen on such a visit by placing Gladstone at a number of tourist sights around the city. He closes by saying 'I may be permitted to state that Mr. Gladstone will come back next year, or the year after, bringing with him Home Rule, a charter for the Catholic University, endowments for the same, and other articles too numerous to mention'.
