There are many famous hurlers in the world nowadays.  My uncle told me about a man named Terence Casey who was a great hurler.  He was born about the year 1840 in a place called Glenanaar between the counties Cork and Limerick.
Once when his parish team failed to turn up he beat the parishes of Ardpatrick and Glenroe by himself.
When he was about twenty years old he went to America.  He returned home when he was forty five and started playing

as good as ever again.
