Gallows Lane  [duchas:4963561]

The Gallows Lane is on the out skirts of Drogheda.  It is a very lonely lane.  On one side of the lane are two big trees.  From these the Catholics were hanged in the Penal days. To the present day it is called the Gallows Lane
