One day a man was working in a forest cutting wood. He was grumbling because he was so poor. When he was going home from work that evening he met a little red man who had coaght his in a branch of a tree. 
Cormac- for that was the wood-cutters name- loosened the little man's beard. He was very grateful so he said to Cormac "What do you want for doing so kind

a deed." Comack then said "I am very poor." Then the little man asked "would you be satisfied if I filled that can you are carrying with gold." Cormack was delighted and he agreed. 
Then the little man said "Take the lid off the can and look inside." Cormack did so and saw that the can was filled with gold. After some time he began to regret that he had not a larger can for the gold so he said "If I got a larger can would you fill it also with gold." Cormack ran home for a can but when he returned the little red man was gone.
