The houses long were made of mud. There was a very big fire-place and a big chimney in them There was only one door in the house and a clay floor in them All the houses had a half door in them. Long ago the people did not use coal but twig and sticks. Nearly all the people used to sleep in the kitchen because they had only one room. The bed they had were very with a hood over them and curtains at each side
