Rush Candles [duchas:4998664]
Long ago the people used to make rush candles. A bundle of rushes was got and the green outside part had to be peeled off first and then the inside with part had to be dipped into a jar of paraffin oil then the white white thing was put into boxes so as to keep them till the were wanted .
