Nuair is cruaidh do'n challaigh caithfhidh sí rith.

Nuair is mó an deifir is mó an mhoill.

Beirt fhear de mhuinntir cró ag baint shlat lá cheóidh, an tslat a bhaineann siad caitheann siad uatha í. Is an tslat nach mbaineann siad bhéarfhaidh siad leo í.
"Dhá charróig ag piocadh a gcuid cluaithigh."

Chuaidh caora isteach i mbearna Céad chaora eile, an maor agus an madhadh. Cé mhéad cos é sin.
"Dhá chois."
