Rud beag ag fás ar chrann, chonnaic beirt é, thóg cúigear é, chogain dáréag é, agus leig aon duine amháin siar é.

Thuit mairt le aill, agus dheamhan crámh a briseadh ann.

Droichead ar loch, gan maide gan cloch.
"Leac-oidhre ar uisge."

Feicim-se é, agus ní fheiceann tusa é, agus is gaire dhuit-se é ná dom-sa.
