Around the house around the house and lies at the back door

As I went up London St, I met a London scholar I took out my pen, And drew his name. What was the name of the scholar.

As round as an apple as plump as a ball It can climb the church, steeple and all.

A head like a thimble a tail like a rat. You can guess for ever and you cant guess that

Long legs short thighs small head and no eyes

2 brothers we are. Together we go. We are full in the day. We're empty at night

It opens like a barn door and closes like a trap

Little thing little thing small than a mouse It has more windows that a big kings house

A house ful a room. You couldn't get a spoonful

Its a town in old Ireland Well nourished in fame. Backways and frontways It spells just the same

As round as an apple as deep as a cup. All the men in Ireland couldn't pull it up.

Black and white and read all over

In in the day and out in the night

Long leged father and big bellied mother

As I went up cornhill Cornhill was shaking
And all the men in cornhill were gathered in an acre
