Tomhaiseanna [duchas:4874159]

I you, went up a hill on a gooses back where would you get down?
(Under her wings)
Why does a hen pick the pot?
(Because she cannot lick it)
A stamp of suet to a tree’s root and not a bone going through it.
(A snail)

Tomhaiseanna [duchas:4874160]

Why does a cow look over the wall?
(Because she cannot look under it.)
A head like a rose, a tail like a rat, you would guess for ever but you not guess that.
(A pipe)
Red within and white without four corners round about?
(A chimney)
What word of five letters take away two and remains? (The word stone)
Why does a donkey eat thistles?
(Because he is an ass).
Why is a dog’s tail like the top of a tree?
(Because it is the farthest away from the bark)
A hundred eyes and no nose?
(Soup).
When is a blind man heavy?
(When he is lead).
Why is a tall man the laziest?
(Because he is the longest in the bed)
