Riddles [duchas:4345676]

Riddle me, Riddle me, Riddle me right,
Where did you sleep last night,
The wind blew the cock crew,
The gates of heaven,
Rang out at eleven,
Riddle me that and Ill give you a shilling,
Ans (A Soul going into heaven).

A One-eyed beggar met his friend,
He could see more with his one eye
that his friend could see with two eyes.
Ans (He could see his friends two eyes while the friend could only see his one.

Good-morning, Tom your hens are gone,
Your cock wont crow no-more,
You went to bed you sleepy head,
And forgot to lock your door.

When was beef the highest,
Ans (When the cow jumped over the moon)
