Glenmore Avenue  [duchas:4963429]

There is an avenue about three miles from Drogheda it is called Glenmore Avenue. It is said that a coach and four horses with two men driving them comes up it every night and the horses and the men have no heads on them. One night a man wanted to see them, so he stayed up all night and looked out the window to see would he see it. He saw it coming up the avenue, when it came near him something slapped him across the face and he fell back on the floor and he could not get up until the next morning.
