Béaloideas [duchas:4351862]

Bhí a lán bóithre thart ar Sruthar, Bóthar Buidhe, Bóthar Dealgain, Bóthar Áth Chinn, Bóthar Thuama agus Bóthar Cille Meadhon. Uair amháin in aice (?) ar Bhóthar Dealgain bhí sean-bhóthar ann. Bhí sé ag dul go Dreac(?). Níl an bóthar seo in úsáid anois mar tá féar ag fás ann anois. Rinneadh é san droch saoghal. Ní bhíodh na mná ag obair ar an mbóthar seo.

Bhí áth ins an abhainn i Sruthar fadó. Áth Sruthair an t-ainm a bhí ar an áit seo. Caiple is mó a bhíodh ag na daoine an t-am sin agus théadh [?] na caiple treasna an átha.
                       -Pádhraig Ó Gionnáin.
