The Annals for the Presentation Convent, San Francisco, record that on 17 November 1920: “The autograph letter of our holy Foundress, Nano Nagle, was received from Mother Peter, Blackrock, Cork, Ireland. This letter was written to Miss Fitzsimons, December 17, 1770”.
