Tá go leór cineál feamuinne ann. An fheamuinn dhearg, an fheamuinn dhubh, an fheamuinn bhuidhe, an sguthach, cabharlach, ceana slat, na cosa cruaidhe, raoiseach, copóg catach, slata mara, agus fheamuinn reatha.
Bíonn an fheamuinn dhearg le haghaidh ceilpe an fheamuinn dhubh le haghaidh fataí, agus turnaps, an fheamuinn buidhe le haghaidh athleasughadh.
An sguthach le haghaidh saile, agus cabharlach le haghaidh fataí agus ceana slat le haghaidh fataí agus ceilpe. Na cosa cruaidhe le haghaidh múin, raoiseach le haghaidh fataí. Tá feamuinn eile ann an brosgar, miolas gabach agus an láimhin
Sliogáin. 
Faocha , báirneach, cluaisín , ruacan, saocha capaill  muirin, sgian mara, oistirí, gealachaí, duilicín.
