Seacht bPaidreacha fighe na reacht do chuir Muire Máthair faoi na mac, do chuir Brighde faoi na brat, do chuir Micheál faoi na scéith, do chuir Dia faoi na neart.
Saor sinn ó ghaoith an chnuic,
Saor sinn ó shluasaidí,
Saor sinn ó dá spíc,
Saor sinn ó náire shaoghalta,
Saor sinn ó temptation an árseora.

Luighim sios leat a Dhia na gloire,
Leis an Maighdean Muire is le Naomh Ioseph,
Aingeal cuimhdeachta mo láimhe deise 
Ag déanamh treoir dom,
Agus brat beannuighthe na Maighdean glórmhar , 
An t-Aon Mhac go luighir ar leabaidh liom,
Sa talamh naomhtha go n-éirighidh ar maidin liom,
A Mhaighdean ghlórmhar is a dá ghéig ar leathadh
A Mhicheál Naomhtha saor ár n-anam.
                     Amen.
