Untitled

Abstract: Niizuma (b.1930, Tokyo) was educated in Japan and America. The sculptor was invited to Ireland for Meitheal '78, where he carried out this work. The artist was captivated by the inherent beauty in Irish stone and wished to uncover its hidden qualities.
