Removal of lower jaw

Abstract: Watercolour medical illustration depicting removal of lower jaw in a man. It has the alternative reference number 1471 and P9 on the front. There is no Richmond Hospital Museum reference. Includes stamp of Bristol Boards papermakers in top left corner. The artist's name and date are in the bottom right corner 'J. Connolly fec.t Febr.y 19th 1857' and in the bottom left 'Case of Andr.w McDonnell Aet 36 Lower Jaw removed Wedns.y Feb.y 4th 1857'. The handwritten note on the back reads 'S.n Adam's Case Operation Wedns.y 4th Feb.y 1857 Drawn 19th Feb.y'.
