Bhí  sean -bhó trath agus ná raibh sí ar fóghnamh in ao'chor i gcaitheamh an Mhártha . Bí casachtach ard agus múchadh uirthi agus ga laighe eile a bhaineann leis an aois , ach in dheireach na miosa tháinigh feabhas uirthi.  Nuair a chommaic sí an Márta ag bailiú leis abaile dhein sí luigh fonmaide fé.'Tá tú g'imtheacct  gan ropaire' ar sise ' agus imteacht gan teacht ort' Do chas an Mhárta . "Cad tá ort sa a chailín ? ar seisean. D'imhthigh sé annsin agus fuar sé gri lá ar iasacht  ó'n Aibreán ' agus thosuigh an gaoth agus an fhearthainn agus sul a raibh an trí lá istigh bhí an t-sean -bhó - riabhac sínte marbh . Agus ná thug an Márta an trí lá úd thar n-ais do'n Aibreán riamh ó shoin . Agus bíonn an trí lá sin fuar , fiadhán i gcómnuidhe ar nós an Márta.
