The Cure of the Chin Cough (The Whooping Cough) [duchas:4690252]
When young children take the "chin cough", as it was called years ago, but now known as the "whooping cough", the parents generally gave them as a cure asses' milk to drink. Some parents believe that the best cure is to give them milk that has been left over after feeding ferrets. The asses milk is given before the disease gets a hold on the child and is believed to be very effective. Those old cures have been handed down to us from our forefathers and are still the best cures of all.
