NO This pastime was known in the south and south-east of the country, and possibly in other parts also. It could be played by individuals or by teams, and involved throwing a sheaf with a pitchfork over a fixed height, such as the goal-post in this picture. Whoever achieved the highest throw was judged to have won the game.
