U.C.D. election : unusual interest in contest

Abstract: The newspaper cutting features an article entitled ‘U.C.D. Elections: Unusual Interest in Contest’ relating to the election, by the graduates of University College Dublin, of six members to the Governing Body of the College. The names of the successful candidates have been listed, five of which have been indicated with a manuscript star; Reverend Professor T[imothy] Corcoran, Charles J. MacAuley, Reverend John Burke, Seamus Ó Ceallaigh, Margaret M. Browne and Richard McA. O'Rahilly.
