Bhí úrlár cláracha sa scoil agus ceann tuig(he) uirthe. Do briseadh na cláracha agus sé Seán Módhráin féin a chaith amach é. Annsan isteach bhí úrlár cré agus luigeanna agus claiseanna innte. Is minic a cuireadh an máighistir isteach go dtí an gclár dubh sinn. Deireadh an duine istig  leis an ndream a bhiodh timcheall na ranga amuich cuir i gcás "trí agus a sé". Cad a dheineadh an dream amuigh ná a  naoi a sgríobh le na n-órdóig ar an úrlár
