Note
Pamphlet concerning the Irish Court of Appeal and the Healy Clause, 1883. It discusses the improvements made to rented lands by tenants, without which Ireland would be reduced to the 'prairie' state contemplated by Mr. Bright. The question being debated is whether such improved property should remain with the tenants or whether it should be handed back over to the landlords through the payment of rent.
