Ringworm [duchas:4693028]
The seventh son of a family is said to have the cure of the ringworm, if, before the child is baptized the father puts a worm into the child's right hand and leaves it there until it dies. To cure ringworm this boy rubs his hand on the part affected, says certain prayers and strikes the palm of his hand three times on an earthen floor. This must be done on two Mondays and a Thursday or on two Thursdays and a Monday.
