If you see a line of tea leaves in bottom off your cup it is a sign that you are going on a journey. If you sell milk to other people and you don't throw a grain of salt on it you will give away all the butter. If you are churning and do not throw salt on it you will have no luck. It is not right to bring a coal out of the fire without leaving a sod of turf back. You would bring the luck out of the house. If you have a pain in your head and drink black tea the pain will go.
