Riddles [duchas:4374707]

1.  What is that which you have and I have not but I mak (sic) more use of than you.    -   Your name.
2.  Long and lanky deaf and dumb, has no feet yet can run.   -   A river.
3.   Lazy old father hard workking (sic) mother, and twelve little children as black as each other.  -  A clock.
4.   I went up a hill.   I met a car.   There were two black men in it and a white man.   If the two blacks ate the white.   Tell me the no of the car.  -281.
5.  Why does a hen pick the pot. -  Because she cant lick it.
6.  Why does a cow look over the ditch.  -  Because she cant look under it.
7.    A little white and round house.   It is full of meat, it has no doors or windows to let me into eat.  -  An egg.
8.  Tell me the smallest room in the world.  - A Mushroom.
9.   I have a little red cow, she eats all I give her, but she  drinks none. -   A fire.
10.   What side of the cup is the handle on.  -   Outside.
11.   What turns without moving.  -   milk.
12.   Little Miss Switcher she has but one eye.   Her long lashing tail she always lets fly.   Every time she goes in and out she leaves a bit of her tail in the trap.    -   A needle and thread.
