If a person is going on a journey and if he meets a red-headed woman people say its right to turn back again. If a person puts on his stocking inside out by mistake, that you will be lucky. If you see the cat with his back to the fire it is the sign of rain. If there is a ring around the moon it is the sign of rain also. If a [blank] eats grass it is the sign of a storm. If a dog eats raw potatoes it is the sign of storm also. If a person comes in to a house and they are making butter the person should give a hand or he will take away the butter. It is not right to take a drink when the butter is making also. When a person is going on a journey he should bring a grain of salt in his pocket. If you see the wild-duck fly north it is the sign of rain.
