A Maighdean glórmar glórmhar maiseach
Is tú mo lón mo stór mo cairaid.
Is tú an réalt eolais dub romham sa mbealach
Is a Maighdhean glórmar déan treór ar m’anam.

Coiglighim an teine seo mar coigligheas Críost cách
Bríghid ’na bun is Muire ’na lár.
Seacht n-aingeal fichead ó Fhlaitheas na ngrást
Ag cúmhdach an tigh seo is na daoine go lá.
