Local Prayers [duchas:5005207]
Local Prayers. April 13th, 1938. Good morning day, Jesus send me the right Jesus keep me from sins and shame. I'll get up in Jesus' name. II It was on a good Friday morning before first moon, The Jews came up with their spears so sharp, Pinned our Saviour's tender heart, The blessed mother standing by With a heavy heart And an achiful cry Whoever will say this prayer, Five times by night, And five times by day, No death or danger shall be nigh, Nor neither shall they enter in. III Peter sat on a marble stone, Our Lord came to him all alone, What makes you shiver? What makes you shake? Lord, I am troubled with a toothache. IIII Here I lay to rest There are four corners on my bed There are four angels over head Matthew, Marl, Luke and John God bless the bed that I lie on. Peter Lacey, Gariydaniel, Monamolin, Gorey.
