Aige an ngasara so atá ceangailthe go dlúth id' thaobh,
Is dhearbuigh í láthair Shasanaigh ar an dtriúr í mbréig,
Is a chuir na faraire thar fairrge go New South Wales.

An té a bheadh na sheasamh agus ag amharc ar an gcúis dhá phleidhe
Do sheasaimh sí ó na seacht ar maidin go dtí taréis a naoí
le reacht na ndearbhuighthe do chrith an talamh dhá thúbhairt í mbréig
Agus mó thruagh sa an tanam mar sé tá damantha mas fíor d'en gcléir.

Bhí an chroc na seasamh agus an chnáib dhá chasadh leath bliain roim ré
Ó chuaidh na dearbhuighthe isteach í ngan fhios aige an ndrom gan séan
Mar a mbfeadh fiabhas ár gcaraibh na bhead ár muinil ag cneagadh is ár gcínn san aér,
Ach is amlaidh a cheapadh sin a chuir thar fairrge go New South Wales.
