Anthrax

Abstract: Watercolour medical illustration depicting anthrax in a man. It has the alternative reference number 1144 and P7A on the front. There is no Richmond Hospital Museum reference. The artist's name is in the bottom right corner 'J. Connolly fec.t' and in the bottom left corner 'Case of Mich.l Woods aet 34'. Includes stamp of Bristol Boards papermakers in top left corner. The handwritten note on the back reads 'Anthrax [?] occipal[?] upon death by coma. Dr Adams' case'. However, an entry in P263/1 on pg. 11 fifteen lines from the top reads 'Anthrax over the occipital. Death by coma. Michael Woods aet 34'.
