Erysipelas

Abstract: Watercolour medical illustration depicting erysipelas in a child. It has the alternative reference number 1142 and P7A on the front. The artist's name is in the bottom right corner 'J. Connolly fec.t' and in the bottom left corner 'Case of Wm Jones aet 13'. Includes stamp of Thomas Creswick papermakers in top right corner. The feint handwritten note on the back reads 'Dr Hutton'. There is no Richmond Hospital Museum reference. However, an entry in P263/1 on pg. 11 twelve lines from the top reads 'Erysipelas of the face. William Jones aet 13'. —
