Abstract: Watercolour medical illustration depicting encephaloid disease of the liver. It has the alternative reference number 2017, 315 and P4B on the front. The Richmond Hospital Museum reference is B.d.8. The entry for this in P263/1 pg. 8 reads 'Encephaloid disease of the liver. Mary Martin 40'. The handwritten note on the back reads 'Mary Martin at 40. This drawing represents the [?] surface of the liver in a case of cancrum of that organ, which is greatly enlarged, gall bladder empty. Mary Martin 40'.
