Abstract: Watercolour medical illustrations depicting osteosarcoma of fingers. It has the alternative reference number 1303 and P10 on the front. The Richmond Hospital Museum reference is C.a.33. The entry for this in P263/1 pg. 20 reads 'Benign osteosarcoma of fingers. A young female. Operation. Dr Fleming'. The artist's name is in the bottom right corner 'w. Neilan del.'. Includes stamp of [?]hobbs London papermakers in bottom left corner. The handwritten note on the back reads 'Benign osteosarcoma involving the [?] layer of the ring & outer finger – slow in growth – painful – can attribute [?] to [?] – subject a young lady aged 20 who had [?] removed [?] the metacarpal articulation – outer of morbid structure – [?] in situ & cutaneous ulcer on surface of one – Removing without any appearance [?] Ch. Fleming'.
