Abstract: Watercolour medical illustration depicting tumour in the jaw. It has the alternative reference number 1388, P3A and 181 on the front. There is no Richmond Hospital Museum reference. The handwritten note in the bottom left corner reads 'William Smith aet 64'. The handwritten note on the back reads 'Destruction of the side of the lower jaw, caused by the extensions of cancerous disease which began in the lips; the teeth are displaced & the nerves divided by the ulceration groups. Death from Hectic fever'. There are two line sketches on the back of the illustration.
