Abstract: Watercolour medical illustration depicting a varicose aneurism. It has the alternative reference number 1862 and P1B. There is no Richmond Hospital Museum reference. The handwritten note on the back reads 'A drawing from one of the preparations of the late Dr Kirby – which he was of the habit of exhibiting at lectures as a case of varicose aneurism such seen in the [?] but dissection proved the case to be merely a gorgonios[?] knob of varicose veins – The p.t dies in the H.l of Industry'.
