Desmond FitzGerald Photographs


This collection of photographic prints forms part of the papers of Desmond FitzGerald (P80). The majority of theses photographs arise out of the Civil War but other smaller series relate to the aftermath of the Easter Rising and to the War of Independence. There are also other series of army portraits and of historical occasions photographs.

Crystal Bar Burgh Quay


Guiney's, Crystal Bar, 1 Burgh Quay was originally constructed in approximately 1808. G. & T. Crampton carried out works on the building - the date and nature of the works is unknown. The building is now J.W. Sweetmans, which incorporates number 1 and number 2 Burgh Quay.

The Seamen's Institute, Eden Quay


Seamen's Institute, 12-14 Eden Quay was originally constructed by G. & T. Crampton in 1919-1920. The architects were William Mitchell & Son. The building is now Lefroy House, a Salvation Army homeless support service.

Scotch House office development, 6-7 Burgh Quay, constructed by G. & T. Crampton in 1982. The building was also known as Aviation House.
